55mm was the previous model stroke, the new stroke is just 48.5mm.😳

you are right, so it's even shorter than a 500/4's (50.5mm)!

Wonder if that 1000's crank will fit the 500/4 to make a short stroke version

 i think that kevin didnt pay attention to the possibility that counter rotating camshafts might cancel quite bit of crankshaft rotation inertia for faster direction changes...
