You should probably repost this message in the “SOHC4 Bikes” forum. That’s where the bike related topics are generally discussed. This open forum is basically a catch-all for non-bike related stuff.

Smoke from water, oil,  or gas. Water is from condisation in exhaust when drain holes in exhaust get plugged. Exhaust then collects  water. When water finally "boils off" then smoke ends.  Black-ish smoke is unburned fuel showing need for carburator cleaning and possibly adjustment. White smoke is from oil getting  combusted due to poor valves and or rings. It will feel oily unlike water smoke.  If bike has  been sitting for months,  some smoke is expected until it is ridden for a while.

Or valve seals. When the engine gets shut off, oil in the top end can rest on the top of the valve seal and seep through. When the engine starts, it then smokes. This happens more with BMWs and Goldwings on the left side of the motor (the low side of a bike on a side stand).
