I don't have a clue.. But I'm certain I will see it show up on Craigslist for $500.00.....   Everyone thinks their old junk is worth half a ton.

Thanks Frank. I think you maybe onto something.
Found a picture of a 60's era triumph drag bike which has many similarities.
The owner told me he was informed that it has old triumph front hub
and at one stage had a Vincent motor in it. Who knows?

That's what he was told spotty. Could very well be BS.  He couldn't find any numbers on the frame
I'll give an update if anything comes up, cheers.

Yep, could well be a racing frame built to house a Vincent engine. A lot of folks don't know that back in the day, you could just buy a Vincent engine from your local dealer, and a lot ended up in all manner of race bikes, predominantly speedway outfits. That's why there are more Vincent engines out there, than there are frames.

Did the swingarm pivot from the back of the gearbox on a Vincent? I think so, and I've seen a vincent with the tank off, and that large frame backbone looks familiar, but then again, it also looks similar to some of Fritz Egli's Egli Vincents, but they all had disc front brakes, so maybe not. Very interesting though, and a quick sandblast and coat of paint would fix the "dragged out of a drain" comments. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
