78 750 brake upgrade suggestions

I dumped a bunch of time and money into this build.  I don't want to skimp on the breaks.  So has anyone got some thoughts on a modern brake system.    I'm in for all new brake lines, no problem.  But would really like a multi piston set up that is a proven bolt on for my stock forks. Is there a good source out there for 750's?

Just put dual drilled discs on, they work great.

Scottly... thats good info.  But honestly,  i don't want to source out used stuff.  I want to go buy new stuff that bolts right on.  BRMBRO or similar quality.   Ther has to be someone out there that makes this aftermarket upgrade kit?

Not to my knowledge, you have to remeber the "newest" 750 is over 40 years old so not worth modern manufacturers working on
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

unfortunately, I believe bryanj is correct.  And Scottly has given you the best bolt on upgrade.  Try a more modern master cylinder too.  In my opinion, the stock sohc4 masters are the worst part.  Basically, anything from the late 80's on up is a huge improvement.
If it works good, it looks good...

John, the opposed piston Brembo calipers won't work with the stock forks; they are too thick on the inside, and will hit the "spokes" of your comstar wheel.
Make sure you use the 32mm caliper used on the V65, and you will not be disappointed. ;)
Sean, Honda used a huge MC on the F2/3, with only dual 38mm calipers, which is where they #$%*ed up, IMHO. ;) The stock late F MC should work well with two 32mm twin piston calipers..

yeah PeWe, I thought about mentioning that Beringer stuff, as sohc4 Cafe Racer Fan has a set of those on his 550.  I think he was lucky enough to get them for free...that is really lucky as a complete dual disc set up with master cylinder is gonna cost about $1800.  Of course, you could piece something together using some oem components, but one dual piston caliper costs $450.  It looks like extreme high quality top notch stuff, but for that kind of money there should be a huge braking improvement.
If it works good, it looks good...

On Red I have K3 MC and it has no problems working with F3 brakes. 

Jnel you might look into GW fork swap.

My CB750 K6 has only 2 x stock brakes with DSS rotors and DSS MC. Work fine, much better than stock.
I have tested a quick stop in over 160 kmh, I heard the tire against the asphalt.

I have 78 F front end, I drilled my rotars and added an 81 gs750 master. BIG improvement!  It's benn a while, but the stock master is something like 17mm, the gs is like 14mm, way better feel, way less finger effort on lever. I used a eBay China copy, about 35$. Also works on 1st gen goldwing.

If you can get a hold of pre k7 750F forks, the 79+ DOHC calipers should bolt right up.
