As long as you easily can push your bike without a braking wheel, everything is just fine. Sound of squealing pads is normal now and then. Especially in low speed entering a cafe area :)

The pads in one of mine are slotted ...??? and the others are what I call normal ( Have two Hondamatics)

The slotted ones squeal like buggery with just the right touch of the lever, squish it a bit more and they dont.

I actually like it in traffic as you can see the blind drivers look in their rear view mirrors, WTF is that behind me makin the racket, at least then they know you are there, I dont have loud zorst pipes  :-\

vik... my two Bob's anyway...

You may have swapped the stationary pad with the piston pad when you put it back together.

Is that even possible with the pin that sticks out back of the stationary pad?

The new piston and seal might have too much friction, too tight? Did u clean the seal grove really well, did u clean the piston bore well, with scotchbrite and brake fluid? Was the new piston a polished finish?

If the rotor is cool, so are you. No issue.

That says it. Disc brakes always rub a little. It's their nature. You said the wheel spins 2 revs before it stops. That sounds more-or-less normal to me. It sounds like you adjusted the thing correctly. Just ride the bastard. You're OK.

As my drag racing friends say, just send it. Meaning in this case, ride.
