Honda TV commercial from 1966
« on: December 09, 2019, 08:02:58 AM »
The hardcore Hondanistas are most likely familiar with this add but I thought I would make you all aware of this great bit of marketing.  It is especially interesting for all who have visited or lived in San Francisco.  1966 was apparently a much more genteel time when a lack of any traffic allowed fashionable hats to take the place of full coverage helmets.

Very cool stuff.

Not an ad, per se (although I bet there was some kind of "product placement" deal on this), but it's the Velvet Frog, Mel Torme, and a bevvy of beauties and bikes:

Was that the original Honda 45, or the newer BIG Honda 50?

Carnivorous,
That was, as they say “rich”, the luscious babes and beauteous bikes made for one swing’in number.  Thanks for that nugget.

You mean Phil?   His wife killed him.

That's right Phil Hartman. That was a sad story there with his wife. He was a great comedian.
