Actually fellas I’m starting to think it’s from the oil pressure gauge, the random droplets have stopped but the poooling of oil (just a light coatin on my finger tip) see picture still happens after a high RPM run of 15-20 miles... :o :o :o

only got about 500 or so miles outta the last oil change, black as tar however the filter looks good no metally bits or anything floating around.

why would oil go black so fast? I don’t have any whiteish smoke unless I really rev hard :P

Oil goes black fast because it is a detergent oil. It's doing it's job.

Even standard econo-Dino? I use the base store brand 10-40 off the shelf @ part stores.

Yes, however I wouldn't put any economy no-name brand stuff in it unless you are careful.  Make sure it is not the "starburst" logo'd oils as these may have additives that will not work well with your bike causing clutch slippage.  However, if it's riding fine with whatever you are using then don't worry about it.
