just rebuilt carbs
« on: December 04, 2019, 09:06:54 AM »
Hi guys and happy holidays. So have a new project, 82 cb750c and after start up from yrs of sitting, got her going but carbs started leaking and hard to adjust. Rebuilt and set air/fuel mix screw to 1 1/4 for starting point. Cold start {about 50 deg in garage ] with choke on it didn't really want to start. with choke off, Starts and runs beautifully. I've started it  several times now, all in cold weather and do not choke it. starts and idles perfect. If I apply choke the rpm does not climb at all.?? my Question... Is it running too rich? Choke had effect on rpm before the rebuild. It idles at 1100 rpm. any guesses out there? Thanks ,Wayne
