tune up questions for 1976 360 t
« on: January 15, 2007, 08:10:55 AM »
I don't have the manual for this bike so if some one knows the spec on float height, points gaps and valve gap, that would be most helpful.

Thanks in advance

I should remember all this but.  And my manual is at work.  Bring it home and if you dont have it by tomorrow I'll put it up.

Sorry,
I for got to post valve clearances.
0.002" intake
0.003" exhaust.
I remember its a bit of a pain as the motor wants to move away from TDCC on the cylinder your working on.
You can lock motor in position with 14mm box end wrench against footrest ( or maybe gearchange lever, been a long time)
I'm 99.9% certain its similar cam chain tensioner as the 400F, (horseshoe type) with exactly the same problems so make sure you try and adjust it.
I haven't had one apart for at least 12yrs so I've forgotten some stuff about them
