Topic: Something interesting made its way into my garage, this weekend.

Well, I finally joined the modern age... bought a 2014 Honda F6B over the weekend. Not sure how I'm going to deal with no carbs to clean and maintain, prior to this the newest bike I own is a 1983... Drove it home from the dealer (about 2:45 minutes) in 36 degree weather. I have to admit, it is a very nice ride, loads of power, handles very well and is very comfortable, I could have rode another couple of hours, if the weather was warmer.

 Have fun riding and not wrenching. Should be able to gobble up some big miles on that ride.

That is the intent, going to do some longer trips with my wife. The downside is it takes up a large chunk of territory in my already overcrowded garage. Had to move two bikes into a storage building until Spring.

But you should be able to ride that nice new sofa around the world at 36F in a good full suit!

Even a VFR800 has enough fairing to commute fairly comfortably at <20F.

I wasn't planning on riding, the plan was to trailer it home. Trailer was about 12" too short, ramp would not fold up safely, so I wasn't prepared for chilly weather. I bought a heavier coat at the dealer to ride home. Heated grips helped, but my feet and thighs were really chilly by the time I got home.
