10-40 Havoline for 31 years in my 76 CB..20-50 in the heat of summer...no oil consumption or slippage after 58000 miles.   Just keep it changed and a new filter with every change

I have a honda atv with a wet clutch I used Mobil 1 synthetic within 2 rides the clutch was smoked had to remove the plates and replace all the friction discs they looked fine but had glazed over. I have been using castrol 10w-30 since with no problems clutch grabs nice.

Hi fellas, seeing as i started this thread just thought i would let you know that the oil was ok and i have had no issues  ,   cheers mick.
