Won't know for sure until you get into it. What issues do you currently have? If it's blown, seized, knocking beg Santa for some Christmas money otherwise it may not be so bad and you won't have to replace many parts.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

oops, Jerry was quicker and is right on...

...the "just replace everything 'cuz it's old" approach can be very wasteful with these bikes.  Why replace parts that likely are fine and were installed with precision that was only possible at the factory or the hands of a very few others?

First of all, why do you think your bike will benefit from a full rebuild?

Of course, there are many parts I can virtually guarantee need to be replaced.  But these are mainly chassis parts...fork seals, steering head bearings, control cables, chain and sprockets, tires, spokes...

Crxnug: search, read, learn, state your goals for the build, post some photos, start a project thread, discuss the condition of what you have. Lots of help here for all of this.

And here is the bike I bought for $1100, rebuilt nothing, and have been enjoying for the last 10000 miles.

Opinions differ greatly, and your goals play a huge role.  For a stock rebuild you're looking at gaskets, seals, rings minimum and very likely cam chain tensioning components.  The rest will be determined after careful examination of parts. You can search this and other forums to see what others have done as research.
