Yamiya pipes and tank

I received my order of no # pipes and body work from Yamiya and was like the kid at Christmas. Man everything looked awesome and high quality. So here's the question for those that also have them. Pipes slide right on and balance tubes line up great but the rear mounting holes on the pipes don't. Get the bolt started and it angles down and I know they say to use 2 hammers and tap it in but this is more of a beat it in . Now the tank . The Honda emblems pegs bottom out way before they are flush and I will have to cut them down to fit . The diamond emblem on the side covers does not fit flush at the bottom almost like it needs to be curved . Anyone else run into these problems and what was your cure. For the price one would think you would not see these problems. But damn those pipes sound good.

Early pipes used a different bolt, not sure what the difference is.
 I have an early pair stashed somewhere, NOS with a bit of stain on them.

Do NOT hammer the pipes at front!!
When they do not match at rear bolt, you must swing pipe down so it can glide deeper on the ex spigot on head. Now keep it that way, swing back up and you' ll see it will fit better now.

I use a long luggage strap around engine and pipes to keep pipes seated.

It depends on bike and maybe head too. It fit different on my K2 with old head than my K6.

I had some fitment problems with my pipes too. I can't remember how I solved it other than going back and forth between the head and the bolt until it went in. I wonder if putting some chamfer on the bolt would help it line up.
My tank badges and side cover badges seem fine.
Paint was perfect.

Thanks for the replys . I ordered new Honda bolts with the pipes and checked fitment on frame and pipes. Fitment to the head was fine wiggled a little and slide up flush. Fitment with just any one pipe was fine . It seems like 2 - 3 pipe mount is low causing the bolt to be at an angle entering the frame. Plastic mallet would go about half way and stop after that had to get more serious than I liked. I did get them on but you would play hell to get those bolts out .

I had t screw the rear bolts in the first times entering the frame. Frame repainted, paint had to be grinded off in the 2 frame holes.
My K6 must have pipes seated as deep as possible on head spigots, the K2 not all way in.

Spigots have an angle locking the pipe when pipe is aligned for rear frame hole and pipe will not glide in further. That's why the pipe need to be lowered so pipe can glide in on spigots.

My Yamiya no numbers were first fitted on my K6, later on my K2.

It's the #2 pipe in these sets.
Like the 350F, this was the most-bought pipe and the molds for these 2 sets' #2 pipe(s) reportedly broke in the early 2000 era. Then we got them interested enough to start making some again (about 2007 or so) and I bought 2 sets (750) for a rebuild (cover of my book) and mine. On both, the #2 pipes' up-bend is slightly off original, which makes them non-parallel at the front (slightly) when aligned at the footpeg bolt. This also makes the rubber coupler a little bit tweaked on the 1-2 side: mine has worn out already since I installed mine in 2011.

 I remember greasing and threading the bolt in with a battery impact. I put everything on loosely, then worked from the rear, checking as I went.  They are stunning if not perfect, I assume they are as good as new Honda but I didn't own any back in the day, my K4 came used with a 4-1 hooker. Out of the three Yamiya sets and one used Honda set I've put on, I have thumped a couple pipes with a rubber mallet through a rolled up towel. 
 As a racer, I'm used to many aftermarket things not fitting perfectly or an occasional hidden defect appearing later.

Yes early production 72 . "Flash - Neut" , K0 style sliders, caliber bracket . I know not correct US color but hard to beat that red that was offered overseas
