This is my first project of a honda CB750 going with the cafe racer style.


Raw steel seat and tank
Custom clip-ons
Old harley headlight
tarozzi rearsets
Firestone tires
Motogadget controll and main unit

Nice roller.  I assume by your title that you are planning to keep the bike looking like it's in bare metal (no paint)?  Are you planning to clear coat the steel?

A pretty good F tank.  You might want to explore paintless dent repair to get out the stray dimple on the upper right.  I'm not sure if it will work on the vertical dent to the right rear.

A friendly word of caution. Those Firestone tires might provide a certain "look" you want but they offer no grip when you start leaning the bike over.  I sense that you probably know this, since there appears to be more than one bike in your shop photo (assuming it's your garage) but your bike's controls (clip-ons, rearsets) appear aimed at a sportier cafe style.  If you try pushing the bike with any appreciable lean angle and you could find yourself on the deck.  I get if this bike is more of a "show" piece but unless your riding is relegated to parking lots, Firestones have serious grip limitations. 

I noticed that you appear to have installed shorter shocks and lowered the front a good two or so inches.  Any particular reason (are you much shorter than average height?), or is this just for cosmetic reasons?  With the ride height decreased in the rear, you may want to verify that you have adequate rear tire clearance when the shocks are fully compressed.

One other suggestion.  You may want to alter your seat upholstery to fill that hole created by the tank right where your crotch meets the tank.  It'll keep your pants and jacket from getting chaffed when you brake and slide forward on the seat.

Anyway, just my $0.02.  Take it or leave it.
