I've been around for a few months now, but realized I never properly introduced myself.
I'm a college student in the Pacific North West and have been into mechanics for awhile now. I first got into motorcycles last year when I picked up an old 70's Yamaha enduro bike. I learned a lot about 2 stoke bikes from working on it and had a lot of freezing winter fun working on it. After a few more enduro bikes I acquired... , I picked up my 1977 cb550k this last June, which was in really rough shape (and in boxes lol). I spent the next few months fixing up, did a full rebuild because it was previously seized as well as a bunch of body work. Just did my first break in ride last week
and wouldn't have been able to get this far without you all on this forum (well I would have, but would have been much more difficult :p). It is far from done, but at least I can ride it now.
