good deal on a set of cr carbs????
« on: February 04, 2007, 03:14:26 PM »
Hey, does anyone know of a good deal on a set of cr carbs? I found this from dynoman,

"Jesse, we can get a set of Keihin CR 31 mm carbs to your door for $719. They will come with racing stacks. If you would like to order K&N air filters as well, just add $129.95 to the order.
We will be happy to send you a Paypal invoice if you wish to order them."

I'm not made of money, but if they are as good as they claim.....MAYBE I could srape it up? Anyone have any advise?
I have the F3 carbs setup and ready. 850cc, 63a webcam, ported, dyna w/coils, 4-1, pods, etc.
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

That may be the best deal you can find for new CR's.  If you bought them in 2006, before the price jump, you could have saved about 40 bucks.  I got my CR carbs through Dynoman - Buzz is a good guy.

P.S.  Be sure to get two extra sets of jets - one size up and one size down, for tuning.

That's a good price. I just picked up a set of 29's on Saturday.

With my new 750 project I'm planning on an 836 kit and 10-1 cam + a couple of other goodies.
What would a set of these carbs add to the equation? hp wise?

I was looking at the twin carb set up Cycle exchange has but I've been told they won't fit :P
