I did not mean to offend and you and I can have our own opinions Simon. Between the 3 of us I guess Bill is the one who knows for sure.

Again Simon sorry you are offended, but let's drop it here and not turn this thread into a pissing contest.

Well said Jim, if Bill's family sees this thread we don't want them being upset by what they see.
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

And Alan F thought he was late tuning in...
Sad to hear of this and Hope Bill made his peace with everyone he intended and like Jim I feel like he does, sorry if that offends some but let’s tolerate and respect each other. It is a very Tough thing to wrap your head around when told something like he was 3 years ago much less live through it.

Farewell Bill McIntosh!

Here is a photo of Bill McIntosh. I have never met Bill in person, maybe that will change someday.
I'm wondering, at 80 years and 5 months if Bill was the senior man here at SOHC4?
This photo is from an idle FB page.
RIP Bill

Thanks for posting the pic.
OFTEN WE HAVE A sort of mental PIC in our mind of what we suppose someone looks like, and often , it's not accurate.
In the case of Bill, I did not really form a picture.. but it was a pleasure knowing him, and conversing with Him.
What was really cool was he knew Chinook Jargon... I am pretty sure he had a full and interesting life..well lived..

Hey bloke, I respect both your strength and the decision it has enabled you to make
Go bravely forth and let us know if there is anything on the other side ( a simple thing like getting the indicators working on my vmax would suffice, cos let's face it only a miracle would do that )

Well, ( and no disrespect here) it seems there may be something out there.....under pressure to get the vmax rideable for tomorrow I actually went so far as to attach all 4 indicators and after a quick word sent to bill, the fcukers actually worked, first time in years
So.....bill, the credit goes to you, wherever you've ended up, thankyou sir and enjoy wherever or whatever is your current situation
Cheers mate
Spotty, ( with all due respect )
