K&N pod filters trickier to fasten after 9 years.
The clamps glides off, going backwards with the filter.
Easier with a distance ring keeping hose clamp in place. I should have done that from the very beginning when pods were new.
This has been a problem the last years, becoming worse.
A cable tie used as a spacer helped.
Carbs look dirty when zoomed in, need a clean

I have new filters found on sale as spares

The K&N filters cost a lot more today than 9 years ago.

I might find out a slightly wider and thicker plastic ring alternative. Clamp can be better seated. Filters stays where they are, so OK
