Merry Christmas to all!
« on: December 16, 2018, 08:08:01 AM »
It’s been forever since my last visit but wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and the best of next year.

It will be for us as after 2 years, 11 months and 13 days the other half received a Kidney transplant on the 14th. Things are going well at this time, she is in great spirits, up and moving. It will only get better.

It’s been a hell of a ride. For both of us.

Happy Holidays!

John,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope the new year is a good one for you and your "other half". Glad things are looking up with the kidney transplant!

Hope to see you back on the forums more often now, unless you've given up the hobby (can't imagine that...)

Take care and Merry Christmas and Happy holidays!

Thank you, it is to bad she had to go through that, but glad she is progressing and I can imagine that it has been quite a ride, for both of you. as far as the year, sure seems like it wasn't that long ago, since we were approaching Christmas. Still enjoying still enjoying that surprise that I got last year. I hope this Christmas is great for you all AND I want to also wish my SOHC4 Family a Very Merry Christmas as well.  ;)

Happy Holidays!!

Guess I spoke to soon. Being transported back to Phoenix as we speak.

She has been ill since being home so the decision was made. Kidney is fine but won’t be if things continue on current path. To much risk.

Christmas gift unwrapping will have to wait. Hoping for the best.

Sorry to hear this, John.  That's a hell of a way to spend Christmas. I'm in Phoenix and underwent a transplant here 24 years ago, so I have a pretty good line on the nephrologists in the area. PM me if you need any info. Meanwhile, I wish a happy, healthy New Year to all the SOHC4 members.

Hello! We are doing just fine! Thank you.

Miiki’s Kidney is a “perfect” match. It’s to the point where I can't keep up with her. Me, still gun crazy!
