Wow..... haven’t looked at the Rickman since early July!! That day, I rode it about 3-4 kilometres, and everything worked as it should. The battery box I built, stock airbox, horn,, turn signals, key switch, clamp on side stand, and a host of other road equipment are held in place with temporary brackets, zip ties and tape!
I put it back on the work table today. Next step is to completely dismantle the bike. When I am down to the bare frame/ engine, I will slide it into the back of my JEEP and head of to my best friend’s shop. Terry is a superb welder and fabricator. I have some of the old tabs, and will have to make a few. After that, the frame and bits will get fresh, bright nickel plating...... pictures to follow.
