As part of the Paypal dispute I offered to keep the carbs if refunded half the purchase price. I had made that offer to the Seller previously and he said no. In the end paypal agreed to the 50% refund. Worst case I have some extra carb parts. A real bummer, the damaged carb bodies had almost no pitting on the inside.

Now Im looking for one #1 and two 4 657A Carb bodies and #1 and 2 float bowls. I have a set with a busted main jet #4 Anybody have any extra ones in good shape they'd want to sell me?

About a repair: study the surfaces to see if filing the bent areas will let it lie flat enough for the gasket to seal again. Rebending them usually breaks this zinc-aluminum casting material, it's pretty brittle.

One of our members in Hawaii sent me his CB400 cylinders and carbs in a wooden, hand-built, fitted box, Fedex (at my advice, as I have had lots of bad luck with UPS and USPS on large things). When I got it, it was in a cardboard box(!). When I sent it back, all bored and ready to reassemble, I set the cylinder bases into 2" thick styrofoam block and packed the carbs separately in the other side of the box, well-packed. When he got it, they were laying inside a bigger box, wrapped lightly in bubble wrap, and 3 of the 4 cylinders were bent, ruining the whole cylinder block.

When you did my swingarm it came back to me in a HUGE empty box with no padding, I was like wtf?? Maybe this also happened to me..

Must be idiots working for the customs or drug department.
Photo the package inside and outside before shipping to be used when letting the carrier pay for the damage.

There are states where weed is legal, but other not? Maybe a check is connected to that?

They did come from Michigan where it was recently legalized. You may be onto something.  They dont have time to go through every package leaving the state, maybe a drug sniffing dog pick up an odor.

I have heard that the Hawaiian weed is good!!
There are websites in Europe that sells seeds from all over the world. Mostly Netherlands.

Shipped via FedEx and they SMELL like they were drained of gas and put in the box.
