CB400F Wheels on CL360
« on: January 09, 2020, 08:10:35 PM »
My friend and I are going t build this 360 and I noticed that the front fork has the connection points for a disk brake. We also have a 400F which is a project/parts bike. Does anyone know if you can bolt up the 400 wheels and brake caliper to the 360 fork and axle? I would assume that you would also need a 400 type speedometer drive.

The reason I'm asking is because it would be cool to have the disk brake on the 360, and the wheels we would use have brand new tires as well. I did look up the wheel sizes and both models use 18" rims.

It should fit as the CB360 has a disc

We bolted up the wheels last night. So far everything fits. We don’t have the brake caliper or swing arm yet but I’m sure they will fit.

We ended up putting all the 360 parts on the 400 and it honestly looks really cool with the big drum brake up front. It looks like an old school cafe racer.

350F/400F, 350/360T all shared a lot of the same sized components.  Brake systems, complete suspensions, lighting, gauges, all pretty much bolt-up and use the same size fasteners, splines, bolts, etc.  It all plays together nicely.  I'm looking into XR parts for long travel and drum brake options for my 400f

I have also mixed 360 and 400f front end parts. They share some part numbers. I still have a set of 400 forks with air caps on them.
