Back from hiatus, valve adjustment and cam degreeing
« on: January 20, 2020, 12:38:08 PM »
Hello forum
Started to work on my engine again and I’m at the point where k have to degree my cam
Went out and bought a motion pro degree wheel, harbor freight dial indicator, and made my self a piston stop
I’ve been going over the how to videos on how to degree a can and seem to be on the right path but I’m confused as to how to put the engine in TDC with the piston stop
Am I supposed to put the bolt down and touch the piston while it’s on TDC then turn counter clock wise until it’s stops and TDC is in the middle of those two points ?
Thanks any help would be appreciated
