Topic: 79 Sankei 2043 exhaust on 73 cb750k3

Hello fellow CB750 fans,
I have a chance to purchase good condition set of Sankei 2043 hm425 pipes and would like to retro fir them on 73 CB750 k3. Could someone give me some pointers as to what would be involved to make that happen? I know they are from 79 and I’m willing to go beyond plug and play but would really love to have 4 into 4 as it adds a tons into its look and makes the bike much more complete.

Keep in mind that you need the 8 studs and nuts, 8 half moons, 4 clamp collars.  And they will not fit the rear mount points.

Do you know the '79 CB750 is a DOHC?  Have you confirmed the OD of the exhaust will fit the exhaust port of the SOHC motor?

May be more trouble that it's worth.  Have you searched for the correct exhaust for your bike?  They are still out there, I just bought a set for $200 [not perfect cond]
