Another CB750 Abortion.?
« on: February 06, 2007, 01:01:16 PM »
I say you are going to make mechanical abortions then stick to Harley's

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHOPPER-HONDA-CB-750-OLD-SCHOOL-NEEDS-WORK-RUNS-GOOD_W0QQitemZ280078179037QQihZ018QQcategoryZ80647QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I can't find too many parts on this bike I would keep. Most would end up in the junk pile so no one could do this again.  ::)

No dig meant at your Harley there, duster.... ;D

But I look at this and just shake my head.

I think we should all HARASS the hell out of this guy. Maybe the guy with all the spikes all over the cb500 and 8 track player with gimongous bags might be a better candidate.  :D

Now, I love chops, as most of you know, but that really does qualify for the phrase, abortion. That thing is Butt freakin ugly. They couldn't pay me to own that.

Like you said Jeff,

There is a vast difference between that abortion and a real chop (Rita).  ;D

Do you mean that you don't have to have it inspected for safety etc. before you can register it?

I don't know much... but I do know that THAT is an abomination. I think someone here with the spare $$ should purchase it with the intentions of putting it out of its misery.

Bloody shame for sure. You'd think that at some point during the "build" or whatever one would call that assembly process, that he'd step back and realize what a mess it was becoming. Then he'd have stopped and rethought the plan.

But no - keep on going and keep the eyes closed. ;D

The Auction copy is worse than the bike. This guy is a jerk. If you were going to set your freind up with a girl would you say: "well he farts a lot, not too much. It probably comes from the the bad food they had in jail."

Thinking of the rescue. I would be more inclined if it had an O.E. frame. Take it from abomination chopper to smokin hot cafe racer. The stupids will buy all the parts that would be ditched from it.

Well I must be stupid as there are a lot of usable parts there. Sure it is ugly but I wouldn't buy it to ride it. I would strip it down and keep anything I might need and resell the rest.
Be stupid to pass up on it just because the overall package is ugly.

I guess the sum of the parts would be better had they not all be stuck on this thing.  ::)
