CB500 - 8 track player in the trunk? WTF!!
« on: February 06, 2007, 01:04:22 PM »
I just found this also. I am trolling the bloody waters for a new cafe racer project. With a torch, I could help this bike loose about 200lbs right quick.

I'm thinkin charging issues here. It's only a 150 Watt alternator. And, then only at cruise.

Hope there is an extra battery in the trunk, too...and a bunch of solar cells.

Gotta say though, it looks like a fairly good highway cruiser.  But, not at night.

Groovy!! I KNEW 8 track would be back. The Bay City Rollers would sound really boss against the growl of a SOHC4.

Bay City Rollers, man that's a blast from the past I'd rather avoid.

Hey, in the "Item Specifics" part, he lists the title as being clear.  Does that mean invisible:

If any of you Mexican dewds out there buy this baby I'll be glad to record some 8 tracks for you but you'll have to provide your own tapes. I ain't givin up any of my blanks! You'll also need some fringe and a bobble head dog.   8) 8) 8) (lighten up in case this offends - I have Hispanic friends that would appreciate this feeble attempt at humor from a gringo)
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I guess it would be a good buy at the right price. You could make a lot by parting out all the added extras and still have a good bike left afterwards.  ;)
