Seat for my 1977 CB550K

Hey guys I’m looking for a factory Honda seat that’ll fit my 77 550k. I’m hoping for a shorter seat in the back end. I read somewhere that a 750f seat will fit my bike can anyone confirm this?

A 750F seat will likely not fit. A 75-78 550F seat however will.

Are you 100% certain? I was told frames and seat pans differ from the 550k and 550f and wouldn’t work.

550k and 550F are definitely different seats.  I know this from experience!  stay with the K version for your 550

 The '77 and '78 K seats are interchangeable. The '72-76 CB500/550 K seats will bolt on, but the gas tank doesn't line up correctly.
 I'm not sure about how the F seat would fit a '77 K model.

 I've never seen a 750F seat on a 550.
