Anyone near Inverness?
« on: January 30, 2020, 11:10:50 am »
Hello guys! Im building another motorcycle and tracked down a motor I want to buy but it is located in Inverness while I live in Los Angeles.
The seller sounds like a stand up guy but if there is anyone in that area I would love to pay someone to take a look at it and confirm it actually exists before I wire money ;D

I would obviously pay for your gas and time.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem... If it's an electrical problem, it's Cal's problem.

That's a long way from LAX.  Good luck with the hunt.  Sometimes that's the best part.

Sorry, too far away at 250 miles. Not sure how else you could cover this other than just going for it.

Hello Blac.

You might try one of the sites where you can state you movement requirements and various couriers will bid on the job.  Sort of like a reverse eBay for transport.  Very often a courier will have job to transport stuff and rather than return with an empty van can offer a good price.  I once had a small bike brought down from Newcastle for £55, which was much cheaper than hiring a van + fuel.

Cheers  Geoff
