Hello!
« on: February 04, 2020, 01:47:01 PM »
Hello!

After loitering on this forum for a while and dreaming.....I’m proud to say I finally  purchased my dream bike, a Cb400f.

Unfortunately it seems after severely underestimating an oil leak on the ride home (I’m new to this!) from purchasing I suspect I have blown a piston.

After a little while hanging my head in shame I’ve decided I need and action plan and well....here I am!

Please be kind!

I look forward to leaning/discuss with you all.

Ed

Hello from Italy. Please post a photo of your bike. Ive seen several photos of european based cb400 that look like 75. Mine is one of them.

First off, welcome.   A severe oil leak is one thing and a blown piston is another! That rarely happens, did you run it with no oil?!

For tech questions, post in the SOHC/4 bikes area, you'll get more help there.
