1980 CB750F DOHC weird turn signal issue
« on: January 11, 2022, 10:09:33 AM »
Hey all,

Trying to track down this weird turn signal issue. Front left turn signal stays on as a running light just fine but does not flash when the indicator switch is actuated. The signal just turns off. All three other signals work as intended (Front Right, RL, RR). Even weirder, I experimented and found that if I swap the bulbs from the front signals (right bulb to the left and vice versa), the left turn signal will not even light up as a running light let alone flash.

Any ideas? I'm totally stumped here. I feel like it's a bulb issue but total SWAG guess.

I would change bulbs. I once had a bad bulb ground out the brakelights on my MG due to the way the filament came apart. Changing the one bulb fixed it.
