Agreed, I have them on my Z1. Continentals are a very good tire too and have a nice vintage tread pattern unlike the Avons. I run those on my H2.

If HM said those are good tires that’s a good sign.
I love it when an sohc Honda is brought back. It makes me want to rummage around here on Maui looking for another one. I know of a few sitting in a warehouse unloved. I really don’t need to do another but if I could sell it it might be fun, yes, it’s a type of therapy and even though it’s expensive, it’s cheaper than a therapist!

Any chance they have a 71? I'm looking for another. I have a 71 engine in the shed and would like to purchase a titled frame. A roller is all I need. Starting to plan my next therapy session!

I spent some time vapor blasting carbs this weekend. With the help of some members here I have a decent looking airbox headed this way and a new to me side stand ready to restore.

Installed the new fork ears today. I threw an old tank on for a visual. I'm starting to see bike again!

Not bad (UNDERSTATEMENT). I like the bare metal tank, too, even though its just for mock up.

It's been a bit since I've updated the build. Things are coming along. I haven't had time to get into imgur to move pics over. I did however find a parts donor bike this weekend in Cheyenne. It was dressed with 75' parts on a 76' frame with no engine. It also came with a clean title. It looks like the 71' engine I have will be going into the 76' frame in a Frankenstein build down the road! I took a minute to swap some of these parts to get a look!

Your vapor blasting is top-notch

I imagine you use the finest grit glass beads available:your carbs,parts,etc. have that same great finish on them that my 2 carbs now have.

No side covers. I'm going to practice painting planet metallic blue on new covers. If that works well I'll be painting the tank after repairing a few small dings in it. I'll probably run the tank until I get all the odds and ends restored up to par.

Not yet;I don't want to get them dirty or scratch them up by doing that..

I'm in the process of dealing with some pressing dental problems,the dentists have just opened back up here and I'm needing to get #18 tooth to either have a crown installed or pulled;that's the first thing now, after waiting for almost 3 months like this..

BTW - Saw that 4into1 does have seats, but very pricey on eBay...

I took a few weeks off. I have parts arriving tomorrow. Set this weekend aside to see if I could get her primed and running. Wiring harness should be here tomorrow.
