I decided to go w the delkevic 4 into 1. This choice is based upon cost an original or remanufactured exhaust is $$$$ as you all know. I just spent the afternoon priming the pump and installing it, the pan and filter. I test fit the exhaust and had to stop to eat. Planning to install the oil tank and see if I can prime the oil pressure tonight. Wiring harness, switches and new signals will be here tomorrow. I'm excited to fire it. I still need to build or purchase a manometer or maybe see if Hondaman will help me tune. This is getting to the fun part!
Cheers...Stay Well

Looking good! Ive spent a good deal of time at the lake! Keep me in mind if you’d like to sell the exhaust in your early pics.

I have two sets of the short turnouts. I'd be happy to sell. I could Vapor Blast them before shipping too.
What's a fair price? I

That is really nice, kudos.  Love to see returned to stock... standard!

I'm in the beginning stages of similar project on a '73.  I just finished an '82 GS1100E that was a Bonneville racer, built by Don Vesco, and thankfully it really 'ran when parked' and fired right up, I didn't have to open the engine (but yeah I painted over the engine as a whole). I am debating whether to (a) get the VMR paint and try my hand at it - orange in my case, (b) get the paint and have it done for me, or (c) see if it can be matched from a friend's nice side panel.  A shop nearby lets one of the guys use the facilities for side jobs and he's done some great work on my Willys wagon here and there for a good price.

As for video, maybe it's best to go the Youtube route and link it with the button in the bar?

Thanks for the you tube Idea. I'll look into it. I'm a fan of Sunrise Flake Orange as well. I ran into a guy at a show in Denver he used the VMR paints w K2 gloss clear to paint this 74' restoration. It was beautiful! I believe with these products and quality prep I'll be able to make mine look good too. Fingers Crossed.
I look forward to seeing your project here also, I'll keep an eye out.

The sunrise orange bike is one I saw at a show. I was referencing the VMR paint products I'm planning to use. That bike was painted with rattle cans.
I'm going to keep mine Planet Metallic Blue.

That gas tank is way too purty to risk sending it crashing to the ground. Try rigging up a small lawnmower tank or something for a mobile tank. Mine is an old washer fluid reservoir from an old Ford truck. I know we have the best intentions to not bump into it while doing tune ups but it happens ask me how I know!

I appreciate the heads up.  I'll look into making a temp IV tank for future tuning! I assure you it's back on the bike safe currently.

Finally had some time to work on the rear hub.  The polishing was the major hold up.  I was burnt out on sanding aluminum.planning to work on the front Brake this week.  The chain is also complete. The order from VMR paints arrived so I'll be looking into painting the side covers as well.  That'll be practice before I tackle the tank.

I also cleaned up the fuel lines and vent tubes.  One carb is seeping so I'll be going back to check float height again.

Started getting the front break cleaned and ready for paint.  I'm looking forward to assembling in the days top come.  I'm purchased the materials to paint the side covers.  I'm planning to work on that this weekend.
