Photobucket?
« on: February 07, 2020, 03:49:41 PM »
What photo host are you using to upload images with the insert image button? I am having a hard time finding a free site to do this. I can upload images from my computer but want to be able to include them with text.
Help Please!

I just upload images from my computer.  Images taken with cell phone and uploaded seem to be rotated 90 degrees.  I have not figured out how to keep that from happening.

Imgur seems to work for me (for now).  I'm still working out the specifics of the interface, but at least it seems to work.

Photobucket seemed a bit unfair with their changing prices and reniging on deals so I paid the ransom on my pics, downloaded them to my phone and transferred to google photos. They are a pain to use there but at least I got my pics under my own control now.
I paid photobucket a one month at a time only price and they charged my paypal a second month. I completed moving my pics and stopped payment. They are very nice to me now but still say I'm over the max even after I deleted a bunch of them.  My opinion is go anywhere else.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

I prefer Flickr.com but the insert image icon is not used, just copy and paste the "BB code"

Using a host for pics saves room on the SOHC4 servers, and saves the forum money.  And your cell phone problem is that you have an iPhone. iPhones seem to want it their way, not always the right way.  If you upload to your computer first, you should be able to rotate it correctly by a "right click" of the mouse, and choose which way to rotate it.
