Yeah siter, I know what you men about too many to list. Even though I said which ONEwould you pick? It would be better for a number of us to have to pick from a specified group of Vintage bikes that we would have to pick from. My list could go on forever also. I mean, besides those I've already listed, I'd like to have a CB92, an early CBX (a 79' or 80', I don't remember when Honda started detuning and loaded them down w/ fairings and such), SL350, BSA Super Rocket, Ariel Square Four, Dunstall Norton, 750 Sandcast would be cool but, I also like the 750Fs, Jawa 500 OHC (I don't know if ANY of you knew about that one) and I know there are more.

What about a 67' 450 Honda that was called "CB450D" and also CL450KO"?

Well you all are oldsters aren't you! I would go for something a bit newer. I would love to get my hands on a 1983 v65 magna!
Actually any of the 83-86 magnas would be fine with me! I like the mid 90s magnas too. They all were 4 banged and the 90s had 4 pipes!!!! looks and performance in 1 package!

I had read a rag on a contest with the magna as one of the rides and the only thing that held it back some was poor factory tires. Well that is easy to fix!

I guess if I had to narrow it down to just ONE, I would go with the '79 CBX with a 6-into-6. I dunno why, but I WANT one of those bikes.

kghost, I couldn't think of the model of that one. That is one fine racing machine with an incredible sound from those 6 pipes. Good one there. Thanks for posting that one.

BTW- I'm sending an aluminium tank back to England (I hope) that looks suspiciously like that tank...

Hey Uncle, Are you talking about, "No Refuses, No Changes, 2007 (or whatever year it is, or as you put it, "Infinity")? That's the way I've heard it. Might not be the same you are talking, I don't know.

I think the idea of a "try it" place for bikes would be a great idea. Unfortunately the
bikes that are the best lookers are seldom the best riders. It's rare to find one that
excels at both.

Not sure which one I would pick, but it would probably be open engined and easy
to handle.....wait isn't that a 750!

Kind feel like that is the holy grail of vintage bike's number 2 is not vintage but think most would like to ride one,a Britton think there are around 10 maybe.

I like the 40's and 50's Indians & Harleys with their mechanical styling lines, much in the same way an old steam locomotive does. Perhaps an Indian is in your future?

I'd never be able to afford one of those Fours! Those suckers go for about $50,000 and up!

The Chiefs usually go for around $ 18,000 and up to at least $24,000 and some are higher. I'd come closer to being able to afford one of those later creations like a Brave, Arrow, Scout (vertical twin version) or a Warrior. I've seen all but the Warrior go for around $6-8,000. The Warriors are more scarce and then there is the TT Warrior. Those models came into being when a fellow named "Brockhouse came into the picture. Those bikes were thrown out there, before they were ready. Some didn't like the Enfield/Indians but, I like some of their models. I liked the Apache (700cc vertical twin and fast. Also had quick detachable lights for racing) the Trailblazer (700cc vertical twin) the Woodsman (500cc single, quick detachable lights, upswept exhaust, "knobby tires and a skid plate) the Westerner (same as the Woodsman except it came w/o lights and had a low exhaust that was straight with no muffler) There were other models but these were the ones I liked.
