Lets take a stand
« on: February 27, 2020, 04:55:23 AM »
I just picked up my second Honda CL77 (305 Scrambler).  I don't why since I have a fully restored 67 CL77 already in the herd that I completed a few months back.  There is also a Honda 73 Honda CL450 that was done most recently, I can't explain it I just like a bike with high pipes.  My question is this, the latest CL77 came with no center stand, (parts for the 305's are rare and on the expensive side,) does anyone know if there is any interchangeability between the center stands on the early twins.

From looking at one many years ago - a high school had used it in their auto shop, it had been "fixed" by too may teenagers and not in a condition I wanted - I recall that the main frame was seemingly identical to the CB77, the forks and some minor things were different. Maybe a stand from one would fit?
