Definitely!!  And the later model looked like the Chief with the full skirted fenders.

I have a freind who used to have one! He likes to tel me about standing on the seat while riding through town. He's actually survived to be 75! He has finally quit riding snowmobiles after falling out of the back of the pickup two years ago.

His wife is still waiting for him to grow up! ;D

With that front end, you could easily ride with no hands and it's because of the way it's built. The actual fork is in front of the axle and is an actual "trailing axle". Someone else might be able to explain it better though.

Very nice, one of my earliest Ebay experiences was selling an engine for an Indian (or Henderson) Four to a bloke in Canada, what a nightmare that turned out to be! In the end he was happy though, and sent me pics of his other Indians, he sure had a nice collection! Cheers, Terry. :)
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
