PeWe, the estimated power of any Top Fuel motor today is just that, it is an estimate.

At a guess, it is about 1bhp per 1cc. 1500cc = 1500bhp.

The engine look very small, fantastic it can keep together.

I'll have that power ratio in mind when my very low powered 1000cc K6 pass 100whp on dyno ;) :)

PeWe, most Top Fuel motors are about the same dimensions as any modern dohc Superbike motor but are all purpose built billet motors.

It's the bikes themselves that are heavy to cope with the power that these motors put out.

It is easy to calculate power from weight, distance and time. No need to estimate or guess at all.

Still, the AT&SF and the Sorcerer were amazing feats in their time. Russ is genius.
