will this tool work for 400F clutch nut?
« on: March 07, 2020, 12:45:17 pm »
I am just wondering because they don't specifically state model compatibility, but they do give dimensions. And the other ones online that do state compatibility don't give dimensions.

Also, if this meant for a 1/2" wrench? Looks like it but the tool is much more "shallow" that I would think it would be.

I'm interested in this specific one because the price is so good, and the website also has the rotor tool I need for cheap.

Looks like it says it's for a 3/8 drive

thanks, yeah I just thought it seemed too short for a regular wrench but I guess not.

It does definitely look really shallow. Dino on HackaweekTV on YouTube has a great video where he shows you how he made one by cannibalizing a socket. Might even be cheaper if you have an angle grinder and the right sized socked you're willing to destroy. Although time spent is definitely a factor when you could easily just order one. Then again, he was working on I think a 73 750. I don't know if they're the same size. But If that one works it's a good price

I have seen people do that on here, I don't have the grinder, and a socket is $12 anyways.

I did order both parts from this website this morning. $12 each. So $35 with tax & shipping. That's less than the price of either tool anywhere else!
