No worries It’s better to overreact than under.

Is it? Could be a disaster either way and it looks like it is going to be economically.  A prudent, measured response seems like a better way, but maybe it is just me that thinks so.
It will change back. When all stock shares and funds are very low, buy, buy for lots of $$$. It will multiply when going back to the normal abnormal.

My concern isn't for stock market traders, many of whom bailed early and have set themselves up for big gains when they get back in at the bottom.  I am thinking of people who are losing their jobs, small businesses that are going under, many forever.  I am thinking of people falling behind in their bills, inflation caused by the extravagant spending relief bills, which ultimately robs from people's savings and our children who will have to deal with this huge debt.  But yes, the traders will make out like bandits.

To prove you’re a man, sometimes you’ve got to wipe with your hand.

Opinions might vary on what real men do about the TP situation.

For one, I found the other day that the hardware store had been raided of their rolls of sandpaper  :o

Now that is hardcore.

Visit a forest and pick soft fluffy wet moss, better than TP! Longer "hair" model.

I remember when I was a small kid fishing with my dad. I had to do it in the forest.
That moss worked fine and did the job much better and felt fantastic :D
Look for insects and sharp pine tree needles or other hard things.

Bring home in a plastic bag. Not to be flushed in da sh!t house though! :D

...but I'm running low on canned pinto beans with jalapenos..

Hey Scott...the wife just stocked up on these yesterday [I was surprised to see them as she rarely eats jalapenos].
Do you eat them just like that out of the can or have a good recipe?!
Straight out of the can Steve. ;D Ranch Style brand. CBjoe thought they were tasty at the reunion in Colorado. :)

Ok, sounds good. She bought the "Bushs" brand, cant be too picky these days.  I'll pair them with smoe grilled chicken tomorrow...
Hey Steve, I went to market today and the only beans I found were Bush's, so I grabbed a can of their pinto beans. ;) There were a lot of empty gaps in the canned goods, but at least the shelves weren't as bare as Mother Hubbard's cupboard like the last time. :) About the same for fresh meat, but there was some nice looking sirloin so I got that. The sandwich bread shelves were fully stocked this time.
There was toilet paper on the shelves, but it was mostly the generic "John Wayne" type. (It rough and tough and take no #$%* off injun...  ;D
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Call up your local commercial food distributors for restaurants. They will have lots of beef, chicken, pork, etc.  Just will be 20 pound box of ground beef, etc. call up your friends and neighbors, build an order and then pick it up and masked and gloved up split the bounty up and vac seal it or food storage bag or put in clean storage containers.

The restaurants not buying has left them with large stocks but, it isn’t packaged for family or individual consumption.

When the first case came into the local hospital, they were saving the PPE for later so 4 employees were exposed.  Makes sense,

I lost my uncle this week at the age of 96.
He lived alone in his home in Sydney after my aunt died in 1996.
About three months ago he had to move into a nursing home because his eyesight had failed him.
Laurence was still as sharp as a pin when I last spoke to him.
But at the end off his life he was only allowed to have one visitor at a time.
His funeral was limited to only ten mourners and no military personnel  could attend.
He served as a pilot during WW2 flying 38 mission's in No 460 Squadron RAAF and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
Aside from his military service he led an extraordinary life.
But because of this virus his life and many achievements could not be celebrated  as they should have been.
As we lead into ANZAC Day here in Australia I can't get over how sad it is.

Sorry to hear that Bear.....I wonder if after this all passes there couldn't be a "celebration of life" scheduled.  Something similar to this was done for my father-in-law a few months after his actual passing and private funeral.  It was basically a communal honoring of his life and achievements as part of a gathering of his friends/family and other associates.

Bear, so sorry to hear of your Uncle's passing. Did he fly on the Wellingtons or Lancasters? Or was he performing the vital support roles for the bomber crews?  "Strike and Return" was their motto according to Wikipedia.
Sorry for you and your family's loss Bear.

He flew Lancasters as a pilot David and flew 38 mission's, a lot for those times.
30 was usually considered a tour.
There was an American connection to. They flew sorties in support of the Juno beach landings on and after D Day.

His brother was a tail gunner in Halifax's and had 7 confirmed kills, making him the only none pilot ace in the RAAF. He past away in 1995.
