Hello Everyone
« on: March 04, 2020, 05:24:31 AM »
I have been buying, selling, rebuilding, and daily driving vintage Hondas for about 8 years now. I'm one of the oddballs who prefers the CB550 to the CB750. I sold my pristine '76 750 to get a '74 550 which is my current daily driver.
I have been reading over this forum for a long time and figured its time I contribute if I can. I'm an economist who lives in North Carolina, but I still enjoy these old bikes.

My name is Steve.  I'm in Hayward, please read my intro , I may be interested in picking your brain for info on dealing with my friend's 77 CB550.

Howdy Rick
The 550 is a great and fun bike too. My dad bought a 74 550 after I bought my original 75 750 new and I used to enjoy it every now and then when I work on it for him. I bought a new 77 550 for my ex while I was parts manager back then. Lighter than the 750 but packs a punch.   8)
