Topic: Rubber boots for airbox

Does anyone know where to find the rubber boots for the airbox to carbs on a cb650 1980?  Ive searched everywhere on the interent and cant find anything.
Can anyone recommend some that will fit for my bike? I have the PD50 carbs

I just checked my airbox and realized somebody put a cone shaped intake boot in the airbox while the other three are just straight. The cone is also much longer inside compared to the other boots. I cant believe I never noticed that sob. No wonder I always had a leaner 3rd cylinder.

The airbox rubber boots for the cb550f look similar, does anyone know if they will fit?

davidsilver used to have decent repros for the 500/550. did you look there?

 Does the 1980 use the CV carbs. I *might* have a good used set. I'll have to dig around.

Mine has the PD50 carbs. CV carbs were 81-82 I think. Im talking about the rubber boots that come from the airbox chamber to the carbs in this pic just to be clear. They are removable and you can slip new ones in but I'm still taking the carbs off and Ill post some pics later of what they look like.

Although, maybe the CV carbs use the same size boots I dont know.  All i know is its a pita to find parts for the 650s.
