Here are three 69/70 right foot peg mounts.
Left two angle forward, right is close to 90 degree.
Is your 69/70 foot peg 90 degree or angled forward ?

 I have a left peg on my 71 Hot Rod bike that was angled forward, the shifter has an Allen head bolt that stuck on the peg. On a test ride it wouldn't shift up. It may very well have come off of an earlier frame.

No, I do not have a boat, for some reason the crankshaft would not turn, I think I'm onto something.
Other pistons were free, pressed #2 out of cylinder, guessing 500# all the way out.

Boy, they don't come much earlier than that! My Honda mentor's sandcast (he called it a "750K", not a "750K0" was steering-head-stamped 9/1969. It must have shared shop space with yours!

Stinking idle at red light.
A hose leads the ventilation away. Better with the longer to passenger footpeg as my K6 had once.
