Well, then show us a pic, let's see it. If it has a bushing that slides over, but is not slit, then it's not going to be tight in 2 directions. If it has a bolt to tension it , there us a step you have to take be the bolt head to maintain torque, and many kits miss that
You keep talking about a hose clamp, but the sleeves I made are over 2 inches wide.
BtW. A lot of dragster held the front of the motors to the frame rails with a single hoseclamp on each side.
