HA!  Pick me up some crap paper, Wilbur. Dont know how long this "stay home" policy will be in force.

HA! Paper aisles are still bare...

Was able to secure paper towels, so not all is lost yet.

That's all that's available here, and my hemorrhoids are not liking that too well.

Walking around with different style socks a lot lately, too!
If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Deb, Dave? I like it too, but there's nothing wrong with real taters mate, try one, you might change your tastes, and they're easy to grow too, if you feel the urge to do some planting? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Yeah, you should have put it in the microwave Dave ("Microwave Dave"?) and then add some butter (real butter, not that plastic sh1t) and give it a mashing, and you'll be good to go........ ;D

Hey!  I am a single guy, lived by myself for years.  So, until this pandemic started, I cooked at home infrequently.  I could really use as many new recipes and ideas as possible.  I think Dave500 should have his own show too!

Terrys kitchen RULES!

New Show.... "Cooking with Terry"?!   No vegamite!

Ha! Thanks Steve, there's a jar of vegemite in the cupboard, but I can't really eat bread much anymore, so I honestly can't remember when I last had it?

I was thinking about Sean's comment that he's been single for a long time and giggled to myself, just before we were all sent off to work from home, I was having coffee with my workmates at a little cafe run by a large Vietnamese family. One of my workmates, Richard, is an ex-New Zealand Airforce officer has been divorced for many years, and is quite keen on some of the Vietnamese girls who work there. "Desperado" wasn't just an Eagles' song, it also describes Richard's constant flirting with the hired help.

The owner, "Queenie" is a very pretty Eurasian lady that Richard has a bit of a crush on. I told him that I was talking to Queenie, and she mentioned Richard. This got Richards attention straight away. He said, "What was she saying about me?" I said, "She said that you're single" He said, "How did she know that?" and I replied, "Because you're fcuking ugly mate!" Well I thought it was funny......

Dave, two things. 1. No bacon? WTF? How can you have eggs without bacon? That's fcuking Un-Australian mate! And 2. How the fcuk are you gonna climb up on to a Yamaha TT600? They're a very tall bike mate, and well, you're not that tall? Are you just buying it to flip, or are you gonna ride it regularly? If so, you might need some of these bike boots for the "vertically challenged"?

Sean....easy recipe and good:

Buy a whole chicken at the grocery store if you dare enter!   [don the hazmat suit first]
Unwrap it, remove anything that is inside [giblets neck etc] put in pan w/1/2" water, pour spice all over the top
Cook for 1 hour @ 350 and enjoy!

Serve with a can of corn and/or beans.  Easy, cheap and very good. Leftovers are great for lunch too.

That looks great Dave, I had an XT500 back in the day and loved it, and the Army had TT600'S for years, so I occasionally rode one, I'd love another big thumper, I sold my 1983 XR500RE in 2018 (it was a tall bike, even for me and I'm 6'4") because it was "kick only" and there was a real technique required to start it, so no good in Melbourne traffic.

It only weighed 120 Kg and with 41 BHP, would happily "do the ton", so with Pirelli road biased "dual purpose" tyres was amazingly agile on the road, as well as in the dirt.

I'll get another one, one day, but one with an electric starter. ;D

I could really use as many new recipes and ideas as possible.

Sean....easy recipe and good:

Buy a freshly cooked rotisserie chicken at the grocery store if you dare enter!
Done.
Serve with a can of corn and/or beans.  Easy, cheap and very good. Leftovers are great for lunch too.
Fixed that for you Stev-o. ;)
Sean, for a quick lunch, I fork-shred some of the breast meat, place it on a yellow corn tortilla with some shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken, and nuke it for 45 seconds or so. Add a bit of chunky salsa, fold, and eat. ;D
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

I read a somewhat plausible explanation for the continuing toilet paper shortage. There are basically two classes of toilet paper: the commercial grade which is used in businesses and industry, and consumer grade, such as the Charmin, Angel Soft, ect we use at home. Since we are mostly all staying home instead of taking a dump at work or public restrooms, the demand for consumer grade TP has increased by something like 40%, while the demand for the commercial grade has decreased. It turns out my sister's neighbor's business was supplying commercial grade products to farms, like TP for the porta-potties in the fields. BTW, my mom says the commercial "John Wayne" TP beats the hell out of the Sears Roebuck catalog pages they had to use back in the day. ;D
