Yeah, Terry. Get that liver fixed. A few years ago I was diagnosed with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease when I had a CT scan for kidney stones. They sent me to a gastroenterologist, but the doc didn’t make a big deal out of it so neither did I. I had a colonoscopy last summer by a new gastroenterologist and he was firm with me. I wasn’t really overweight, but he said I need to shed some lbs. I’ve lost 30+ lbs. and have kept it off. No sugar, no fried food, no processed food, no white flour, low carb, low calorie diet, lots of veg, good fats, and no booze. I gave up alcohol 10 years ago, so that wasn’t hard. I did a bunch of research and found which foods were best for the liver. Your liver is one of the only organs, if not the only one, that can completely heal itself. The experts say probably more than 50% of the US population have NAFLD and don’t even know it. Even skinny people. Ticking time bombs. Our American diet is horrible, which I’m thinking is a big part of why the CV is doing what it’s doing in our country.
