Terry, what the heck are you adding in to that ginger brew your bootlegging down there ??

Ha ha, well as we should be talking about what we're doing to weather the pandemic storm Eric, I've pretty much mastered the art of making extremely alcoholic all natural ginger beer that actually tastes good too. Yesterday I realised that I didn't have enough left of the current batch to last me until the new batch is bottled and "matured" (another couple of weeks) so I bought a case (12 pints) of "Ginger Joe" my original favourite to bolster the numbers, and cracked one straight away, and was immediately disappointed.
I mean it's great that mine is so good, but it kinda reminded me of the time I met Australia's greatest V8 Supercar driver, Peter Brock, only to find out that he was a rude self centred arsehole, and came very close to punching him out, which wouldn't have gone down too well with his thousands of fans......
Years ago my cousin (and my best friend) showed me the remains of a couple of Puch 250 "Twingles" that he bought with the intention of restoring. I've been hanging out for a two stroke bike for awhile, so I asked him what's happening with them, and he told me I can have them, for free. Woohoo! Apparently a guy pulled them apart to restore them many years ago and stored all the small parts in tea chests, and sadly there was a flood, so most of the small parts have been destroyed, but he thinks that most of the big parts are there, so hopefully I'll be able to make at least one good bike out of the two. There were heaps sold in the US under the "Sears Allstate" brand, so plenty of parts on Ebay.
I won't be able to drive to my home town to collect them until after the lockdown, but that's ok, it's something to look forward to when all this sh1t is over. Here's a pic I stole from the interwebs of what mine will hopefully look like once I piece it back together. If anyone here has a cache of parts, let me know?
