Got my 81 CB650 all torn down, the engine is pretty much back together with all new bearings and seals. The cylinders and rings were all good. Just got my frame back from the powder coater

While the frame was out getting coated, I tore in to the wheels, I have a home made vapor plaster that did a nice job on the hubs
Here's my front hub before and after

I also found a way to re-zinc plate my spokes. Since I couldn't locate and replacement spokes - this worked out great.

What are you doing for rims? Stock steel or aluminum?

Stock Steel. The back rim is in pretty good shape - the front was bent. Picked up a used one off e-bay for $15. Spokes were really rusty, but the chrome was good.
