Welcome back Kev!

 WEDDING NIGHT:

Kev takes his new wife to bed on their wedding night.

She undresses, lies on the bed spread-eagled and says:

"You know what I want, don't you?"

"Yeah," says Kev. "The whole feckin' bed by the looks of it!"

Pub's closed for a year? :(
My God! I'm surprised I can't hear the wailing and nashing of teeth from here.
Take care Uncle Kev. ;)

I'm practically off the jar a year or more Brian.

Mr fukcen Kipling cake and other sugary delight intake has soared.

Thank God I never smoked. (except after descending from motorcycles at speed).

How are things there with you ?

With lockdown easing in Ireland, I got to take newly restored Katyusha out for a wee blast.

Hi Steve

First shot near Cavan town, second one in Ardee Co Louth. Along the way I had lunch in Crossmaglen Co Armagh.

Beautiful weather. Two people approached me looking to buy my Katyusha.

I managed to take this wee beauty for a shake down run today. Still an impressive motorcycle even after 33 years.

A speedier run took place. The wee RVF 400 is like a little bouncy puppy dog, happy to be brought anywhere for a run.

The RC30 is like a panther who hisses "you better know what you are doing".

I have total respect for this 33 year old machine.

In truth, not the best souvenir Simon.

I hurl the NC35 around the place, but I sure as hell treat the RC30 with respect.

I'm an old scaredy cat these days.

I'm sure, back in the day, you were fairly swift.

What was your favourite racer ?

They are quite special Ray. Not the most practical road bike, but it turns heads.

Especially the coppers.

I raced for 5 years at national level with moderate success. I worked as mechanic for racers far better than I at international level and that was much more enjoyable.

At road races like the UGP and the North West 200 we got to see some fine racing.

Probably the most spectacular was Ron Haslam at the UGP. He scared the f**k out of all of us.

But Joey and Mervyn were the best.
