Front axle parts missing/identification
« on: April 12, 2020, 11:58:48 AM »
Putting my front axle back on the bike I noticed that on the speedometer gear side there is holes going through the axle and there is nothing there, looking at the diagram what are parts 36&41? Those look to me to be what I'm missing.  Any help is appreciated!

Also what wires go to what on a pamco electronic ignition? I recently got a 74 cb550 project that is down to just wiring for the starting system and I'm trying to figure everything out for a M-unit.

Maybe a leverage point by putting a tool through there.

Its for holding the axle without scarring it, when removing the nut.

36/41 are the Allen head bolt and sealing washer the screw up, through the fork leg. They are in a recess under the axle. Nothing goes through that hole in the axle......
