new guy from Nashville - 1973 Honda CB500 Four
« on: April 05, 2020, 07:44:30 PM »
hello, just signed up tonight. I have a newer Bonneville and a 73 Honda CB500 Four. I live in the Nashville area.

Anyone know if there are any shops in the Nashville area that might have some parts for older Hondas?

thanks,

Dan

Welcome from Texas.

What parts do you need?  We typically dont go to "shops" when we need parts, unless ordering a part that is available from the Honda dealer.

A 73! I had one of those. It was brown.

Right now a tach gear -- I already threw an ad on the wanted parts page. Didn't see any on eBay.

Nice looking bike!   Google the part number to see if still available.  But I'm sure one of us has a spare...

If you mean this gear:

Then yes, I have a spare.  The rest of the tach gear housing - no.

I can send it to you if you want, you can reimburse me for the shipping.  Just let me know.

...and welcome!
